Exploring WordCamp Ahmedabad: A Journey with Qrolic Technologies

Fifteen days prior to the event, we kicked off our preparations. We crafted a banner, designed templates, and set up a QR code scanner for boosting our social media presence. Additionally, we developed a helpful guide aimed at empowering employees, business owners, and individuals to unlock their talents. We dedicated time to practice effective communication and strategized how to represent our company. A day before the event, we visited the venue in Ahmedabad at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University to check out the setup and connected with volunteers and fellow community members.

From 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, we delved into a day full of inspiration and connections at WordCamp. The event kicked off with a hearty registration and breakfast, a moment of pride as we registered as sponsors. Opening remarks set the tone, with the community warmly welcoming everyone.

The day unfolded with two series of sessions in two separate auditoriums, each hosting engaging presentations. Our team, stationed with a dedicated space equipped with a table and chairs, took the opportunity to represent our company to visitors. Amidst lively discussions, we connected with numerous attendees, shared our company story, and fostered valuable connections. It was a day of learning, networking, and making lasting impressions.

As we navigated through WordCamp, we discovered a vibrant community of companies dedicated to contributing to WordPress, much like ours. Connecting with fellow sponsors opened a door to a rich exchange of ideas. We engaged with teams from various giant companies, sharing insights, and learning about each other’s journeys. As soon as the event began, lots of people came over to our spot, and it got pretty busy. It was a bit tricky managing so many conversations at once, but we made sure to talk to each and every visitor. It turned into a cool back-and-forth where everyone was sharing and picking up new ideas. Handling the crowd became a chance for both giving and receiving insights.
